A new legislation has been introduced recently which aims to give your card and transactions added security.
This means that after every five contactless transactions or after £135 is spent using contactless, you will now be prompted to use chip and PIN instead. You can find your PIN number in the Osper app under More -> PIN reminder.
This means that if your card is ever lost or stolen and you do not realise in time to lock it, there is a limit to how much can be spent using contactless.
This rule does not apply to the majority of transportation services.
If the chip and PIN transaction fails for any reason, please either contact our support team or you can visit any high street bank ATM and enter your PIN number. That will reset the number of contactless payments you can make.
